EORI number
EORI number: identification number for companies within the EU.
T-1 document
T1 document: proof of transport for non-cleared goods within the European Union.
Demurrage
It simply means: extra costs for containers that stay too long at the port.
Insurance
It is always advisable to insure your goods.
During transport, damage or loss may occur. The liability of carriers and freight forwarders is generally limited, which means that the cargo owner – in many cases you – may not be fully compensated for any loss or damage.
To avoid unnecessary financial risk, we strongly recommend taking out cargo insurance. As an additional service, we can arrange this insurance for you.
