Major inspection

Combatting crime can be done in various ways, one of which is through conducting multidisciplinary inspections. The Royal Netherlands Marechaussee regularly participates in these large-scale operations alongside its chain partners. These collaborations include the Dutch Police, Dutch Customs, and the Tax Authority. Each party focuses on different aspects and utilizes its own knowledge and expertise. For instance, the participating agencies check income, assets, and the identities of drivers and passengers.
